Welcome to Lodestone Soap Co. an artisanal soap shop, which features small-batch soaps made of finest quality base oils and organic botanicals. Mindful of the footprint, Lodestone source their ingredients from suppliers offering sustainably harvested plant products.  All of Lodestone’s soaps are made in here in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Lodestone is magnetite or other naturally magnetized stone that attracts iron. Natural, alluring and nourishing.

Lodestone Soap Co. was developed by Marian Munro, a botanist whose knowledge of plants and plant extracts acquired over 30+ years was a perfect fit.  Having very sensitive skin and allergies to many ingredients, Marian looked to source sustainably harvested base oils and essential oils.  All botanicals are organic and natural.

Since 2016, Lodestone Soap Co. can be found at the Spryfield Community Market every second Sunday, and in April 2017 they added the Prospect Communities Farmers Market. These two seasonal markets alternate Sundays from April until the end of October.  Drop by and see them.
