Melville Gardens

Located on the Melville Ridge Retirement Campus, Melville Gardens is a 91 unit facility which has 60 beds licensed by the NS Dept of Health as Level 1 Residential Care, while the remaining 31 beds are licensed as a Level 2 Nursing Home. The residential care units in Melville Gardens are an ideal place to live for someone who wishes to maintain as much of their independence as possible, but may require some supervision or assistance to perform their activities of daily living. Those who live in the Level 2 Nursing section of Melville Gardens require assistance and supervision when performing their activities of daily living. Melville Gardens is a licensed facility by the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness and all admisisons, whether they are for the Residential Care or Nursing Care units, are gained through their Single Entry System (SES).
