Mainland South Heritage Society

Our mandate is to research, document and preserve the heritage of the communities of Mainland South which we interpret broadly to mean that region of the Halifax Regional Municipality from Armdale to Pennant. This region has a rich history and includes former farm lands, fishing communities, military establishments, quarries, and the sites of pioneer industrial enterprises.
